Anyone remember when they saw a zebra pleco for the first time? Here's the cover when TFH introduced it. The editorial makes amusing reading; we've come a long way.

yeah i sure do, i still have some of the old mags and i remember coming on your forums and discussing them with other new zeb owners also, back in the day when it was £30 per zeb lol

It is quite impressive how much the husbandry of this fish has moved on. I wonder when the "new Zebra Pleco" will arrive in our livingroom tanks!!!
It is easy to forget just how recently this fish was brought onto the market, and how quicky it has depleted in numbers over recent years.

lol yeah 30, years of martial arts, beer, the odd cigarette (trying to quit) and plenty food seems to keep me young lol, heh its all good
