more cave or less cave ?

I wonder whether more cave or less cave does effect breeding. In case I have 8 adult zebra plecos ( didn't know how many male or female), how many cave should I give for them in tank size of 30 inches.

I have 10 zebus and maybe 20 caves to them… They produced 8 small zebbies a few weeks ago…..

I usually want one per zebra. While only males will claims caves, females will use them to shelter in, often over nighting in one. This also presents plenty of possibilities from which the males can choose.
