Worms in tank - food or parasite?

Post by pjvenner »

Hi everyone, this is my first post and it's a call for help/advice.

After cleaning out the sand/fluorite substrate in my zeb tank some long thin pale worms became apparent. (will post a link to video). They have been regularly fed with bloodworm, daphnia, and once with tubifex. I am hoping the unidentified worms are baby tubifex but I would like advice from those in the know.

You can see the video here: http://youtu.be/1qb8xIWct7k

Thanks in advance for any help. Pete.
