Firstly congrats on the spawn, finally; but sorry to hear about the little fellas dying. I think it's all part of the learning curve, for them and us.

Good luck with the little wrigglers that survived, they're looking well.

I cant believe it!!! i have eggs!!!!! lol OMG!! i ws wondering were 2 of the fish were i just assumed they were hiding really well, i checked the cave i know my alpha is ALWAYS in and i saw 2 tails moving so i had a closer look and what did i find EGGS!!!! i am so excited

Congrats Shell, so it was spawning activity you'd been witnessing over the past few weeks. It's important now, as pointed out, that you don't get carried away and try to keep looking in the cave, you'll know when the eggs have hatched as the male will been seen closer to the cave entrance rather then deep inside. Day 3

The 3 are starting to show some black pigmentation on them, again there doing really well, last night the mum tried to get in the dads cave again, so maybe soon, more eggs, who knows, anyways heres todays pics
