well... its been 6 months since I seperated the breeding pairs, since then we have had just one spawn from the alpha tank.... so after a bit of consideration, I put all our adults back in one tank tonight
Hopefully we will start getting 2 spawns at the same time again and the males will sort out what they should be up to!
The tank is destine to become an L183 haven instead

update...
The alpha male is spoilt for choice.... he's had 2 different fish trapped over the last day and a bit
I had a bit of a rummage about in their tank though tonight - So I may have upset them for a couple of days... fingers crossed for a double spawn
