It might be an issue when you get a dominant and subdominant male. They would need their own territories. It might be hard for them to find a territory they will feel comfortable with if their caves are right next to eachother, which might result in more fighting than necessary.
This might not be a problem for you yet though

Glad to see the zebs are settling well. The wee ones have certainly got their colour back after fishing them out of the bucket
The caves next to each other should be just fine at the moment, although as McEve says it could be an issue as they get older.
Shell, the theory is that the female pectorial fins are completely curved. The males, ( as I am hoping), tend to have a straighter edge as it leaves the body then cureves round.
