All of my zebra is round and fat :D
Well, I have tried to rest them. Without any luck.
But, when I try to rest them I have refurbish the tank or moved them to a new aquarium.
My experience with Hypancistrus is that if they have started to hatch, they just continue for several years.
As long they are round and fat, I’m not worried that they should starve. I have seen the Alfa and Beta males eating two or three times over 2 years. You should not be worried.
The reason for feeding them twice a day is because I always have fry in the breeding tank.
I rarely see the adult zebras eating with the light on. Without fry in the breeding tank I probably would just feed them once a day. When the light is off.
