I was hoping more people would chime in 
. That's actually the female that's been spawning with the male. I wasn't kidding, she LOOKS male, everywhere but the vent. Her opercular odontodes aren't quite as long for all the other signs she shows, but she was definitely a sleeper female!

Found spawn number 4 yesterday. Same big butch female spawned it seems, as last time. Did a water change a few days before, but no real fluctuation of parameters. Just updating the thread so I can chart the behavior as I go along. Tap parameters are about 180ppm at the moment and the tank is stable at about 230.
