Hi Andrew,
Sadly no. I wanted to research them properly first & then justify the expence of the cost of the fish which at 50 pounds each (at that time - little did I realise what a bargain they would have been!!) was stretching my budget! :?
By the time I felt I could get some of course I couldn't as they were no longer available.
Now I just look on with envious eyes & pray that you guys are all successful with your breeding programmes!
I hadn't realised just how many Zebra keepers were in Scotland till I joined this site.

That fish room is the dogs bol**cks. :D
You deserve all the success in the world with it just for the effort that it has taken you to do it.
Absolutely fantastic I would love one but I will never have that amount of room too spare or the time.
I think I would be in there all the time I would never go to work .

Tanks are in the hut and half of them set up, but until i sort out lights above all the tanks, it's not the best place to take pictures with it being brighter outside the tank, as all i get are reflections off the glass.

My zebras are in a six foot tank, but don't have a good picture of that yet as its postion is the worse tank for pictures, though these are some of my other tanks that have lights above them.

The sides, back and bottom of the tanks are painted black, the sockets and plugs
seen in the bottom tanks are reflections off the sliding glass covers.

Set up one of the sumps and the tanks run off it last week, but find the noise from the water draining into the sump too noisy and still have the other two sumps and their tanks to set up, which will make it even louder.
So i am scraping the sumps and getting Eheim cannister filters instead, actually prefer the idea of each tank having its own filter incase of anything breaking down.

Sump's and noise. Have you heard of Durso standpipes? That's a fantastic design to reduce noise.

I have went totally off the idea of sumps and would prefer just to use Eheim external cannister filters with UV Sterilisers fitted to the tubing for fry rearing tanks.
I am not saying sumps are poor, they are just not for me, prefer the set up with each tank having it's own filtration.

Tried to take some pictures of my zebra tank and you will see what i mean about reflections.

Dominant male has gave me two batches of unfertilized eggs so far !

The water in the tank is lower as i am in the middle of a rainy season.
Filtered by two Eheim cannisters, the internal fluvals are getting seeded for other tanks.
