Babies sudden death

My zebus have been breeding for the pass 2 months, but find dead babies everyday . Kept some of the babies in floating fry trap with and air tube bubbling near the surface to max water flow. Feeding twice a day with tetra discus bits. Water change 20% every week

No2 0
No3 0
Ammonia 0
Tank been set up for 3 years

Fry total 60 and still breeding , live remaining 12, new Norns and 1 month plus old fry also die on me.....

Dont feed baby zebras with discus granulat, it swells up in there stomach and they can probaly die from it.

You can use crushed JBL Novotab and tetra tabimin.

O my....!didn't know that....because I didn't see stomach bloat and didn't figure out what happen. What is tetra tabbimin? Will try to find the JBL one as well...thank you so much for your advice...,this happen to me the first time and was so depressing....

Also keep eye on the temperature. Fry require higher temp like 29-30C.

Yes, i do keep the tank at 29.5 degrees, thanks will try to change their diet today.....any other food you recommend ? cheers

Try viformo from Sera, the fry love it here.
Make sure you crush it before you throw it in though.

Using JBL for the pass few days, 0 death so happy! Thank you so much for the help. Still try to get the tetra tabimin but it's a new product and they don't sell it here yet in Hong Kong~

And yes they are quite happy munching on the JBL tabs, growing 2 more male guarding fries in breeding tube so prob. Get another 20+ more babies
