One factor I have not seen discussed a lot is relative size of a zebra when kept in a group. I have seen this work on other fish; however, I don't know if it applies to zebras.
I have notice that when I raise a group of fish together, the males over time will be bigger than the females. Does this help in determining the sex of a zebra pleco?
For the more experience keepers that have colonies of 10+, do you guys notice the females being smaller over time as the males may over compete for food?
Thanks in advance for any input.
