Sorry to bothering you all whit this but soon i might recieve wild plecs and what to know whats the best way to de-worm the litle fellows.

i ask to remember that i am from portugal and i might not have access to some of your comum meds.

in here people talk about flagyl and esha2000, but i don´t know the procedues to L046 plecs.

any help is wellcome.

I have no clue as to what may or may not be available over there. My dewormer of choice has always been Flubendazole.

Hi there,

You can buy tetracycline and sulfa to Quarantine them for a week or two.
These can be bought an any farmacy over the counter.

Tetracycline 500gm per 10 gals
Sulfa 500gm per 10 gals

1. The treatment should be for at least one solid week. On the second day a 25% water change should be made but the same amount of medicine should also be apply to the changing water.

2. Keep the temp at 85F or 29.4 (30C)
3. Feed only once per day... light (a good flake) for the first week. Them move to some other food. ( avoid frozen food the first 2 weeks, during treatment)
