Spawn No 4

Post by jerry58 »

Hi
Just quick update alpha male is sitting on some more eggs he has kicked out one infertile egg to day I would estimate about 6 to 10 eggs left.
All this parenting and he still has time to pose in between spawns

Thanks Jerry

I hate mto be the one to shatter your illusions, but he wasn't posing for you he was doing it for the ladies

Congrats on the spawn.

Hi just an update the alpha male is in the cave with 9 or more wrigglers of the 4th spawn in there is 5 fry from different spawns that includes the one and only from the first and all doing well. I think he puts up with a lot !!! (including me)

While i'm at it can anybody tell me if I have a fry with unusual markings will it keep them or will it revert to normal as I have one in the group. This is one from the 2nd spawn I think and is looking good, more like dashes than stripes along one side of the body and broken lines on tail and a small thin black line over mouth. 8)

Thanks Jerry

Typically, the odd looking ones normal out over time. But not 100%.
