Hello from Cardiff
Hello everyone,
After monitoring this site for a while, I feel I should introduce myself.
Having been a keen fishkeeper for many years now, I have managed to sneak in one more tank with the sole aim of breeding hypans.
Like most of you, I came across the zebras early on and have wanted one ever since. I always avoided the temptation of an expensive 'trophy' speciman, as it didn't seem fair to me. Now I feel I can do justice to them and would like to build up a breeding community.
Hopefully I can make contact with others in the area who are doing something similar.
Regards, Paul.

In which case, Windy1958, I'm pleased to make your aquaintance.
I see from previous posts that you have serious experience with l-numbers. Repect due.javascript:emoticon('8)')
Cool
Have you had much luck with l46's?
How difficult was it tracking down a viable community from different bloodlines?
Don't suppose by any chance you have any dealings with City Aquatics? They occasionally get hypans in from a local breeder, and there can't be too many others in Cardiff producing such a variety of cool fish.
Must admit I was nearly tempted by a supposedly breeding pair of l262s they had...
