Tank size ?

Pretty much explains itself really. If you have questions about tank set-ups, tank furniture, (caves etc) chuck them in here!

Tank size ?

Post by vanillarum »

Hey gang. I have a chance to purchase 6 (or more) 3" L236's. Just wondering where they would be happier, a 40 gal breeder or a 55 ? And if you had to choose between L 236 and L 46, is it a given that everyone would take the L46 ? Thanx for all advice.

If i could get my hands on this amount of REAL L236's i would buy them instantly.
However 99,9% of the hypancistrus that are sold as L236 is not L236, they are just very nice patterned L66 , L399 , L400 or other.
For tank size i would say bigger is allways better
Greetings,
John

is there a size of L236 where they become easier to tell apart when they are maybe full grown or can you still not tell them apart even at this size.
