Too much Oxygen?

Post by Jamie24 »

Is it possible to have too much oxygen aerating in a tank with zebras? what could be the side effects, how much can be tollerated?

I know that they love the water to be highly oxygenated but can we harm them by adding too much?

There is a maximum saturation of O in water which once it is hit, the rest just outgasses.

All the aeration in my 30 gal. breeder tank comes from a single 150gph AquaClear filter. I have no airstones and dont use an aerator on the Power head.
What makes the common person uncommon is common sense.
