If it's about fish in general, or it's a little bit random, then this is the place to post it.

Hi guys.

I just wanted to say thank you for the great times we've shared over the years. We have managed to build up quite a good knowledbase for Zebrakeepers by now haven't we  But, time for me to step down.

I haven't been here all that much lately, so I don't feel I have a place amongst the moderator team any longer, it does demand a certain amount of dedication and participation, which I haven't been able to follow up on.

Reason for this is that I have tonight sold my last tank. 2 weeks ago my last Zebra died. I now realize it was was copper poisining, so this will be my last advice: New copper pipes do leak copper, fatal amounts for the Zebra, so beware.

I'm happy to have been part of building all this information gathered on one site, and I hope future and present Zebra owners will find all this info useful so that the breeding program will continue!

Keep breeding this striped beauties

:bye:

Apologies, I haven't been here the last few weeks lately either....it's been so hectic but I'm gutted to hear your news McEve. That must have been horrendous for you and your fish. I'd like to think you'll get some more zebras in time and hopefully join us once again.
But good luck for the future and thanks for the hardwork you've put into this forum. :)

Thanks again

Hi McEve

Apologies also for not being aroundmuch, I have been off in sunny Kyrgyzstan.

I am absolutely gutted about your zebs, and also about youleaving the site. There is no doubt about it, youhave been one of the primary driving forces behind making the site a success, and for that I along with all 928 other members would like to say a huge THANK-YOU ( I believe the use of capitals is justified here ;-) ).

I will drop you an e-mail and hopefully speak to you soon.

Let me know if you decide to take up the zebs again and I will find a way of getting a breeding pair off to you in Norway ;-)

Rob
