Ok, so Tiny is back in with the rest of the family but one of the older ones now has these strange 'cracked' looking markings on it
Has anyone ever seen these before?
Is acting as normal - sitting in the entrance to its normal cave.

He's been in small disaagreement with another male
that will heal, just keep the water clean and he'll be right. He's in good condition so I don't think you'll have any trouble with that.
Sometimes the can loose their stripes entirely after a fight, and sometimes the stripes grow back in a different pattern

(I'll have to see if I can dig up those pic again, but you get the story anyway

McEve's right, probably arguing over the caves or if you've got a female!
These are beautiful little babes!

Oh! I wondered if it was starting to split its skin cos it's so fat!!
And there I was hoping it was a female
(Do females fight over caves? ever hopeful!!)
At least it's nothing serious.
Thank you so much for your prompt replies

Not usually
but they can fight! A female might rest in a cave like a male. She rarely stays there for long though, doesn't take possession of it like a male does.
