I just brought home my first two zebras yesterday. I could pick them up locally from a guy that was moving. I've been thinking about this for over a year now. I've been frightened about buying any online. I've read all about the scams and it really turned me off. Once I was able to pick up a couple I jumped on it. They are only about a eighteen months old and too early to sex. If I can keep them happy I'll try to get some more.
I've been ready your forum for a few months now and have shared some of your excitement about these fish. It was extremely helpful when purchasing these. I knew exactly what to look for in a healthy fish. Thanks so much for all the information on tanks and feeding. I'm still a little nervous but very excited to be a steward for two zebras.
They are about 2 1/4" each. Only 18 months old they can't be sexed yet. I hope to get some pics this weekend. The only camera I've got is my phone and that doesn't do them justice. They are a little shy right now. Getting familiar with the new tank but I get a peek every so often. I'll keep you informed.
In order to post pictures you will have to get them on the web first and then you can link to them in your post using the img tags. A good site for free picture hosting is photobucket but there are others.
