Finally able to join you

Post by Gillmo »

I just brought home my first two zebras yesterday. :D I could pick them up locally from a guy that was moving. I've been thinking about this for over a year now. I've been frightened about buying any online. I've read all about the scams and it really turned me off. :x Once I was able to pick up a couple I jumped on it. They are only about a eighteen months old and too early to sex. If I can keep them happy I'll try to get some more.
I've been ready your forum for a few months now and have shared some of your excitement about these fish. It was extremely helpful when purchasing these. I knew exactly what to look for in a healthy fish. Thanks so much for all the information on tanks and feeding. I'm still a little nervous but very excited to be a steward for two zebras.

new zebras

They are about 2 1/4" each. Only 18 months old they can't be sexed yet. I hope to get some pics this weekend. The only camera I've got is my phone and that doesn't do them justice. They are a little shy right now. Getting familiar with the new tank but I get a peek every so often. I'll keep you informed.

I got the pictures this weekend. They are still getting use to the tank. I added some more hiding places and a small cave today.

Welcome Gillmo and good luck with the new zebras. :D

In order to post pictures you will have to get them on the web first and then you can link to them in your post using the img tags. A good site for free picture hosting is photobucket but there are others.

Regards.

Adam.
