tumor on the face?

Post by chanettt »

what should i do? i just find out today and it's huge! there are two of them. the one on the lower right side and the upper right side. (both on the face)
the other zebras are fine, the temperature is around 86. i did 20% water change every week. it starts since i introduce 3 new adults to the tank and i think it cause by the fight. (first it look kind of little pink like a scratch) this young zebra (2 inches) keep this part of his face next too the driftwood so i never saw the progress of the tumor. sometime he try to scratch his face on the driftwood. (i guess)
please help on this as soon as possible. what should i do?

If it looks like fungus on a wound, I would treat with Melafix and Pimafix. They are natural medications and very effective.

See this thread: http://www.zebrapleco.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2283

I had something similar on both his fins, they both fell off while trying to capture him and then I applied iodine. Somehow his fins also rotted after the iodine treatment, and then I dosed Melafix and Primafix for 7 days - now he's beginning to recover.
