Help, my L46 has turned white (as shown in the pictures)...
it is swimming and eating normally but its appearance doesn't
seem to be right. I am now treating it with nufurpirinol in an isolated tank...
are there any recommendations on the treatment? Why does it
turn into this strange appearance? Please advise...

Fighting
Hi Blue Blue,
Don't Panic they are fighting. Provide lots of cover for your zebs.
Try treating with Melafix.

by the way, what is the dosage you'd recommend for this fish? The normal dosage or a reduced one?
dosage
Regular dosage 5 mls to 10 gal. Don't overdose.
One treatment is often enough for light damage.
Most times fighting injuries heal on their own, without treatment,
however if you feel its real bad then isolate the zeb and treat with Metafix.

2 of our domanant males have been fighting recently and look the same.
Its been since we added a 6th male - but hes not one of the ones fighting
I added a lot more cover today - Plants, bogwood and slate.
How long will it take for their markings to recover guys?
(as I'm going to be selling 2 of them to raise funds for females)

Light damage can be healed in 2- 4 weeks with treatment. Lots of O2 with melafix should heal them up twice as fast.smithrc wrote:2 of our domanant males have been fighting recently and look the same.
