breeding caves

my baby zebras are now 2 months old and doing well. thanks to everyone who advised on food etc - i have been using cyclops, tetra prima mini granules, frozen daphnia and tetra min tabs. As a proud foster dad it is hard to resist over-feeding but i 'hoover' every morning and use nitrazorb, clear water and nitrasafe in the tanks, in case high nitrates inhibit growth rates.
i forgot to add the happy couple spawned in plant pot feet i bought from a garden centre. the 'feet' look like a wood plane or garden snail and have a thumb sized hole in them. i lay the feet on their side in the tank. at first i was worried the fish may get stuck but they seem to love them (if you buy, check internal space is large enough). the other thing i did was to join 2 mini terracotta pots with aquarium sealant, having drilled a hole in the bottom of one of them. that seems to work well also.
