We have more zebra pleco eggs. I can't tell how many but I do see some kind of stacked on top of each other.
I don't know how you guys get photos of egg clutches. The male fills up the whole cave entrance. I can barely see three eggs over his huge head.
I guess I will have to sit back and wait.

Hey Buddy,
Thanks for the email. My babies a very young and won't be ready to sell for another year and a half or so. You'll probably will have some of your own by then.
I don't know how much they will go for. I think the current prices will drop as we introduce more fish. My first three fry (found 3/6/06) I'll keep because they were my first babies.
Good luck finding zebras for your tank.

The male finally came out for a little dinner and I was able to peek in and take a quick look at the clutch.
Its a good size clutch of about 10-15 eggs . I couldn't see the back or sides of the clutch from the front enterance of the cave but was able to see more eggs than I had expected.
This is so very cool.

Well, at first what I thought were eggs were actually snails.
They were close to the enterance. I was afraid the male would sweep them out so I've been watching him closely. When he left the cave to eat, I peeped in with a flashlight. He wasn't in there so I'm hoping he didn't see me looking. By the time I got my camera he was back in the cave and I left him alone.
I had heard that males will eat the eggs if they feel threatened. I don't think he felt threatened because I don't think he saw me.
