another quick note ,
i was doing some big cold waterchanges and then i did big one with osmosis at that moment there was activity but nothing serious and then i changed abit with cold tapwater and after that again a big cold waterchange with tapwater and the next day the biggest male was guarding eggs.
maybe this is also a trigger going from hard to soft and then back up to hard water??
i too have eggs
today on day 24 i lifted the cover that hangs over the caves and i saw 4 fry and still allive,i think there must be way more becuase i have a lot of holes and hiding space in my tank.
by the way rob do you mean they are very vulnerable in the week 1 and week 3 after hatching??or do you mean from ay one when the eggs are laid??
so far they seem to be good and i have been feeding a lot i hope i am not feeding too much.

Congratulations Tariq... This hobby is all about trial and error... And from what I gathered you need all the variables to be perfect to get a spawn... So keep up the good work buddy.
@ Adam:
Wouldn't the world be a better place if L46 did cost a tenner? Atleast that would mean that Zebbies become common as muck and not close to total devastation in the wild eh?
Sincerely
Bader
