Malaysian Trumpet Snails
Hi are Malaysian Trumpet Snails safe with fish eggs i just want to be sure as i was going to get some to turn my sand over in my tank.

I've got them in all my tanks. They eat dead eggs that are kicked out, but never had any trouble with them trying to get to the live ones.zebrastorey wrote:Hi are Malaysian Trumpet Snails safe with fish eggs
I do however try to keep the number reasonable, as they will eat the Zebras food, and get in the way of them, if there are too many of them.
Rule of thumb: if you can see them during the day you've got too many Exeption is: if you've got high levels of Nitrate or Nitrite, they will crawl up the glass no matter what time it is.
