:D hello just introducing my self, my names Alistair. I have been keeping zebra plecos for about ten years now but have not bread any yet. I started of with two, both of which turned out to be males! I currently have one fish left, I lost the other about 3 years ago. I would love to have ago at breading them, I have in the past bread various killies and apisto's, but just need to get hold of a female or two!!!!!

Welcome :D There is always somebody that sell these creatures, but rearly close to the one who wants them 8)

Hope i don't run out of time as i have had this fish for ten years already. I reckon i probably have another 3 - 4 years with which i could bread from him. i am basing this on the age of a clown plec that i have, 14 years old and still hanging on in there!

Hi Alistair,

There are reports that one collector of zebras is still breeding his ones and they are estimated to be about 15 years old now, so you still have a bit of time to play with.

By the way I must commend you on your fish keeping skills, that's quite an achievement to have cared for your plecs for so long. :wink:
