This fish has been discussed here before, together with other examples of L98. I know I have the Scientific description by Isbrücker and Nijssen on my HD somewhere, but darned if I can find it! I was curious if it said something specifik about eye color.

But, as this is a just for fun competition I don't think it matters, for now it's an L98 as agreed on earlier :D

Hi All,

I would like to say a big thankyou to all who voted for my zebra's tail. :D Well done to everybody else who had an entry in the competition.

Jenny this type of zebra is referred to by Datz as L98. Some may argue that it is L173, makes little difference really as both are colour morphs/variants of L46. For me it's just a zebra with a different pattern.

Thanks.

I would say they are more L173. But beautiful anyway it is. Do you have more females of the same with him, or the other way around, i assume it is a male

Thanks for the compliments PM and FB. :D

I have another similarly marked zebra in the same tank as the young male in the picture. It appears to be a gravid female, with any luck they will get it on one day but for the time being they have shown no interest in one another. :(
