FIRRRRRRREEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!
Hey guys and gals....There is a forest fire near my house about 5 miles away but the ash is seeming to be falling on my car and house! It is getting pretty smokey as wel!!! I doubt it will ever reach us and I think the firefighters have it under control, but should I have to worry about my fish???
The smoke is not getting in the house but its still pretty smelly and smokey!!! Does anyone know???

I'm assuming it's too late to be of much help now, but I was told that it wouldn't hurt them, unless the air was smokie enough to make you cough. If it WAS that smokie, then do a water change, add carbon, and cover the filter inlets (if it's a back filter) with a damp towel. If it's a canister, just cover the holes over the tank with the same damp towel to filter out the smoke before the air goes to the tank. Seriously though, I've never heard of it causing a problem.
