Hi Arctic circle,

Congrats. Hope all goes well.
At the moment my Hypancistrus Inspector male is on the third attempt at trapping the female in a cave. Another male Zebra has also trapped a female. It looks as if this is the Hypancistrus breeding season !!!!!

Regards,
Des.

Congrats AC and I hope all goes well with the eggs/fry. :D

I'm a bit curious as to what sort of stimulation if any was required for the L66 to spawn.

I have read that L66 fry are particularly susceptible to fluctuating water changes so you might want to keep things nice and stable in the tank.

Well done. :D

eggs are now developed youngsters, and they are still L-66 not Hypancistrus inspector :)

Adam, i'm going to do carefully water changes every day and youngsters get artemia, zucchini and after that they get Dr'Bassleers biofishfood.

Parents have been our tapwater, Ph 7.5, Gh 8-10 and conductivity 450mS, temperature 30 C. Filtration is Eheim 2217, Eheim powerhead 1212 and one another pump 650 L/h, tank size is 125L.
