L262 Spawn

Post by Caesars »

That was our return from holidays present!!! Our young colony of F0 L262 has had their very first spawn. Dad is absolutely fantastic, keeping the youngsters in the cave and only letting them venture in the tank an hour after lights out; he then collects them in just before lights on. Below a photo of one of the fry as it ventures outside the cave for a stroll.

We are over the moon for this addition to the family!!!

coming up soon!!! Next update of mchportal will be the L114 article and the L262s are due in November - that will give them a chance to grow up a bit!!!

Since then we had one more spawn and babies are doing extremely well, though this Hypancistrus is like the zebras, you can't quite see them as often as you would like in the tank.
