Not all male L-codes have prominent odontes. We sexed ours by venting. Females have U shaped vents while males have V shaped. Also, when females are mature you will notice the swelling on the sides, under the pectoral fins (see top photo).smallfish wrote:congratulation, I hope they all hatched.
and if I can ask a question please, as with L114, how do you tell male or female,
on the picture that the fish out side should be a male, but he has no odontones on his pectoral fins at all. So I guess to sex them then we have to observe they courtship behaviours.

Sorry for the lack of updates. We have been busy as our own site, MCHPortal is being updated, reprogrammed and revamped.
