Barbatus (Video clip)

Post by Fishnut2 »

I'm really a corie fanatic that is new to plecos. Here is 2 barbatus spawns, in adjacent tanks. Video shows courting/T-position/female carrying eggs in pouch/and egg-laying!

Hi Dan,
My camera broke that day, so I grabbed the camcorder, and set it up on a tripod. I couldn't pass up the opportunity of 2 spawns in adjacent tanks. It took 2 hours of film to make that video clip. At the end of the video...they are starting to spawn in a second location, in the left side tank.
My favorite part is the little dance the male does...which seems to be in sync with the music  With shooting/editing/and uploading the video from a dial-up connection...it took me 7 hours to make that clip.
