yeah contacted the guy last night

He has had an offer of £475

Just debating whether to make a higher offer or leave it

What is the going rate, these days?

Was prepared to pay alot for these but didnt think it would be more than £150 each

Personally £475 is a price I would consider potentially for the right age if I was 100% confident there was 1 male and 2 females, but if I wasn't close to being that sure I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole!

Have they bred, can they prove it?

Hi

IMO, avoid adults unless proven.

Some of these fish are are now 12 to 13 years old, been in the hobby in UK since 1995. Maybe earlier.

Better to wait 2 years for a female juvenile to mature.

Males seem to take longer.

Take care

Crazypleco, the trio on Aquarist Classified Ad's is a good deal and i would not hesitate if you can afford them.
They are in Scotland and if you hold off for other zebras, you will end up traveling a good distance further, it's not often zebras are for sale in Scotland.
