Post by dave 777 »

ooops I wasn't logged in when i made that last post.

I am looking for 4 zebra plecos. Small ones are fine. I am looking for at least 4 or more reasonably priced. I hope some one out there can help me out. I just want to do my part and breed these little guys. If you know of anyone who has any for sale email me their info or have them contact me.

Export from Brazil is restricted. There are no restrictions so far on selling the ones already "in the hobby".

You're right! I'm sorry, I didn't think that far ahead. But aren't there animal import restrictions across international borders as well to deal with?

I'm having big trouble trying to read your forum, by teh way. I get maybe three, four messages in and then it can't find anything.
THat's why I haven't said anything on fishaholics.

I actually don't have any fry that are big enough for sale yet. They were $100 wholesale just before they went on the CITES list, so I'm still basically trying to determine what the market rate is going to be, also. You'd have to drive down to pick them up, as shipping over the border would put the fry at risk of being stuck in customs and these are my children. All of which is probably going to make you not nearly so interested in my fry, I'd think.

Barbie,

ok... how long till they will be big enough you think? i did some homework... the fry can be shipped up here no questions asked. (I have a friend who works in USFWS at the Blaine crossing!! :D ) however, if you'd prefer me to come down, i dont mind that at all. the only thing i ask is, as a student right now, you'd be willing to give me a break on the price... i'd even be happy getting something for you up here that you may need to cut it back a bit? (like, ANYTHING!)
