yeah.. I've got no Zebras to loose... thanks guys, it's terribly sad :(

But, should I have diluted the iodine before applying it? Is that where I went wrong?

When using it I always use it at full strenght, I usually catch the fish in the net and apply it with a q-tip (vet inte vad det heter pa norska - bomull sticka kanske?)

I used it on an altum angel which had a horrbile case of fungus on the pectoral fins - I actually ended up removing the fins when I was applying the iodine (accidentaly) - never thought the fish would make it but it did and the fins grew back normal.

Not good McEve. You have my sympathies.

As Jo said, its just one of those things. Unfortunately there are very few definates with the treatment fo fish, and alot of the time it is a case of "it may work", or "it's worth a try". All we can do is keep trying and hope that next time it works.

You couldn't have done anything else.

Thanks all, it's hard not to think that I should have done this, or should have done that. I still don't think I took it seriously enough, and waited for the eSHa to arrive, shouldn't have done that.

Anyway, can't do anything about it, just have to learn and do better next time.

Thanks again for your sympathy all.
