my mam has some old broken terracotta plant pots and i was wondering if i could use them in my tank for some extra hiding places...?
just wanted to check there safe first!

I use them all the time, as long as they are new and cleaned well! I have actually seen baby zebras breed in them. They are made from the tiny flower pot ones and what you do is get two if them and glue them together. On one of the openings you need to crack it open a tiny bit.They usually have a tiny hole on the bottom so i just stick a screw driver inside and turn it around until it cracks off a big enough piece so the zebras can get in! The other hole i usually just silicone it shut. I will take some pics later today!
