How do you make your water flow?

Post by DANthirty »

Just wodering what you guys use to give a good flow in your water?

How bigs the tank?

how bigs the powerhead and how many?

how long do you have them on for , what sort off resting period if any?

how do you aerate your water, ie venturui or spray bar or other means?

The reason i ask is when all my power heads are turned off my zebbys become active vertialy straight away so im wondering if i have to much turbulance in my tank?

Venturui on both Power head and 1 of the 2 internal filters.

Hi Dan,

My Zebra tank is 200 litres.

One Maxi-Jet powerhead 1100 l/hr.

Spray bar from external eheim 2224 canister filter.

They are on 24/7.

Spray bar on Eheim filter and venturi setting on powerhead.
