Are these filters any good ??????

Pretty much explains itself really. If you have questions about tank set-ups, tank furniture, (caves etc) chuck them in here!

Never tried it myself, but I guess for that price, it's worth a try. Hmm, even comes with UV...nice. The seller has solid positive feedback.

I would have a back-up filter though, even just an air-driven hydrosponge or your old one, just in case.

Personally, I paid so much for my zebs, I would invest in known-to-be-reliable filter that will help keep them alive. :D But a back-up filter or 2 or 3 is/are definitely essential.

Good luck!

In my case, I'm currently using an Eheim 2215 canister filter with a hydrosponge prefilter and a marineland maxi-jet 400 powerhead with a hydrosponge prefilter which provides aeration, mechanical filtration and some, although minimal, biological filtration.

The 2215 is definitely overfiltering my 20G / 75L tank.
