Looks very nice 8)
Lots of caves and hiding places for your fish. I think they will thank you for that!
How many fish have you got in there?

Hello

Is looking good :)

A little tip.. push the caves a little backwards. They love when its a little dark around the entrance.

Best regards

Hello All!

jczz1232 tank looks good !
But I have a question regarding setup, why you don't have gravel ?

Thanks.

Lots of people here use bare bottomed tanks, helps with cleaning and maintenance issues.

Got to agree with the above statement. I have bare bottoms on all my pleco breeding tanks (4). My community tank has gravel, but the bare bottoms are so much easier to keep clean. I started my breeders with bare bottoms, didn't like the way they looked (I was a noob, and an old school noob at that !), so I switched them to gravel bottoms. After 3 or 4 months I went back to bare bottoms, just because they ARE so much easier to maintain. Good luck and have a great day !

The reason I ask is because I had other bottom feeders bred in the similar conditions, but fry felt much better after I added ½" of river sand.
I had case of some kind of fungus on there belly. It was clear over night.
But then again I just start reading about this fish …

I know some breeders who like to put down a thin layer of sand to protect against just what you mentioned. Sometimes a "film" develops on the bottom. Currently, I have 0 breeding going on, so it is not yet an issue for me. And I know just as many breeders, if not more, that have never had a problem with the BB. I guess it mostly comes down to what you are comfortable with. Good luck.
