tank setup how many caves for 5 adults (eventually)

well finally getting my 1st three zebs on the 1st of april,eventually looking to house 5,just wondering how many caves i should have in there for them,tank is 36 inches l by 13 width by 17 high got new design fluval u3 internal filter with venturi also maxijet 1200 with venturi so plenty current/air have built 7 slate caves(none in there yet) and plenty of slate hiding places(brother runs roofing firm so plenty slate avialable:) does this setup sound ok and as above how many caves should i put in?? any help greatly appreciated

It sounds like you have everything about right. Onle males will claim caves but females will shelter in them as well. I believe that more caves works better than fewer under the thinking its safer to have unused cave space than dead or injured fish due to too few caves.
