New Zeb Tank

Post by andyj »

Hi guys,

Have set up my first Zeb tank last night :D

It's a Tropiquarium68 (~100L), with a Fluval 3+ and 1+ providing filtration at the moment, although I might upgrade to a 304 in the near future to provide more flow.

I've got a 200W heater in there, set at 28-29', with a 50W set at 26' "just in case" as a back up :D

At the moment there are no lights on the tank, as I need to find out why their not working!!!

Pics below.....

Comments/suggestions are welcome :D

Nice set up Andy :)

I don't use lights at all on my zeb tank, they have a clear lid on though so some ambient light gets in so not sure if its important to have lights? Also did your fluval fall off or did it you position it like that on purpose for flow? I ask because mine always falls off and I end up using bog wood and slate to keep them where I want them

lol @ the Fluval comment....

I haven't got a bracket for it, so it's just dangling in the tank to be honest!!!

Might try and prop it up a bit like you've suggested with bogwood/slate :D
