My new breeding tank... Completed!

Post by Jamie24 »

Well as the title sais, i have finished it. I got filter yesterday and spraybar set this morning, just finished setting it all up and arranging it all...

Tetra Tec Aqua Art 60L Tank
Eheim external 2324 Thermo Professional
Eheim internal 1212 Aquaball Powerhead
Tetra Tec HT150 Heater
Tetra Tec APS300 Air Pump (powering bubble wall at back of tank)

Temp is set at 28c on the HT150 heater and the filter heater is set at 26c (so in the event of the HT150 failing, i will have a back up!)

I also purchased another Eheim Aquaball Powerhead 1212 for my main L046 tank, i have replaced a small old Hagen internal filter with it and has added plenty more flow and a high oxygen induction to the tank...

These powerheads real are the "Mutts nutts" in my opinion  , you just cant go wrong with them, good price, nice size, good flow output, high oxygen venturi and fully adjustable!

Not sure wether to put a black background on the new tank or leave it as it is?
