IDEAL TANK SIZE FOR 5 OR 6 ?

Hi gang ! I'm thinking of getting into this, and am wondering, if I can acquire 5 or 6 zebs, what, in your opinions, would be the ideal size tank to keep/breed these beauties ? Thanx much !!

Young or Adults?
5-6 Young L046 2ft tank would be fine as a grow out tank but too small for fully grown adults (the males can be very territorial during breeding)
5-6 Adult L046 3ft tank would be fine but the bigger you could give them the better (larger volume of water easier to lookafter/ control)
