Thanks Again All.

Des.
It is 1 - 2 mm gravel, maybe pea gravel is not the name for it.
I picked the name from my lfs when i was buying it, but i hear what you are saying about food getting trapped in the gravel and polluting the tank.

Andrew C,

Your Avatar and the bottom picture with the female does show PEA GRAVEL ( which look like tiny pea sized pebbles) unless I am due a visit to the optician !!!!!!. From the pictures they look to be a lot larger than 2mm, and being round/egg shaped has a lot of gaps for food to dissappear !!!!!

Regards,
Des.

Alright, it is 1 - 4mm PEA GRAVEL and if cleaned with a sypthon when doing water changes, with a well filtered tank you have NO PROBLEMS !!!!!

McEve,
That is pretty interesting information. Where did you dig that up?.
By the way what does the sentence at the bottom of your posts, in Italics mean?.

Andrew,
Goodluck.
