Using the aquarium Söchting Oxydator W for over a month. I am pleased with the result: no noise and tubes and oxygen level is 6 mg/L.
The water in the aquarium is about 150-200 liters. L046 live there and I read that they prefer more than than 8 mg/L
Now I use a 6% hydrogen peroxide with one catalyst. I think about adding another catalyst.
Could you tell me, please Is it safe for L046?
Is high level of oxygen safe for them?

I have been keeping and spawning zebras for over a dozen years. I would never add peroxide to any of these tanks. I have seen it kill fish.
I have never had oxygen level issues simply by insuring there is adequate surface agitation and good circulation in the tank.
Finally, I do not read German so have not sure what the aquarium Söchting Oxydator W is or how it works. I did put some of the details into google Translate. I can tell you there is no way I would use this stuff if they gave it to me for free, I can do the same thing they claim with a bit of substrate and plants.
Given the value of my zebras and other rare plecos I am very careful about what goes into their tanks besides clean water and good food. I use no chemicals at all. I do not even have to use dechlor as I have well water.

I should have also mentioned that zebras do need well oxygenated water. This is because the higher the water temperature, the less dissolved oxygen it can hold. And zebras like warm water. Oxygen needs are also why the zebra is limited in its range to the Big Bend. This is full of rapids which keep the water well oxygenated. However at both ends of the Big bend there are stretches of much slower moving water which is less oxygenated. This has effectively been a barrier to the zebras from being able to move up or down stream. Water temps can reach the low 90s F at times in the Big bend.
In our tanks adequate oxygen is normally maintained by gas exchange between the air and the water. A completely unmoving surface has tension to it and this will impede gas exchange, but roil the surface and gasses freely exchange. This is how most tank outgas excess xo2 and ingas oxygen. Well planted tanks use co2 and make oxygen, so surface agitation is not an issue. I keep zebra tanks unlit and unplanted. i also make sure I have lots of surface agitation and circulation in the tanks.
