I had one escape when the trap was fully floating. He just went up and over the side! I noticed one was missing, but as one of the fry had died, I figured the other was a casualty too and maybe got eaten or something. It was a few weeks later when I spotted a tiny tail under a piece of bogwood that I realised he wasn't gone... he'd just gone walkies and was perfectly fine living with the adults!

Hi Mindy, I'm very surprised that the little guy made it to his parents. I would've been really upset if any of the other fish had managed to gobble him up! But the little guy knew where to hide, so alls well :D

Sorted. Enjoy.

Very little colour due to me using night vision and a dim torch (dosnt look that dim in the vids)

The wigglers and eggs - 2 different males - 2 different caves... (5.4mb)

The fry from spawn 3 - still alive and kicking in the main tank. (3.6mb)

cheers Bonsi... fingers crossed all the losses of the fist spawn (12) was down to the fact there was so many in one spawn and they were week... the latest fry are doing really well in the main tank with the parents, so fingers crossed - everything is going to be a lot better with the little ones from here on :)

I just need to convince the wife that we need to upgrade to a bigger tank so that we can grow them up better :) :)

I just happen to have a fluval 1200 and stand with their name on it... just need to work on getting it in the bedroom :) :)

I've got a spare Trop68 with stand if you're interested in using it as a grow-out tank !!! :D
