Hello all at zebraplec.com.
I have been keeping fish for a number of years now of all shapes and sizes.
I have always fancied keeping some zebras, ever since i saw my first one(and the only one i have seen).
I chased these for 2 years with no luck.
I gave up looking about a year ago and now they have found me.
i received an email from an lfs about a guy selling off his young Zeb's(7 months old).
So here i am about to receive a handful of young plecs.

I know this is probably not the right place but i wanted to ask about feeding them when they are young.
At this age will the eat the same foods as adults. krill, bloodworm, muscles, brineshrimp, veggies ect.
Or are the meaty foods to much for their intestines at this age.

Thanks in advance, DAZ.

First, welcome to the board!

Second, definitely read through the posts that have already been made on the board. Most of this information has already been discussed at length. If anything doesn't make sense or you're like clarification, we'd love to help!

Thanks Barby.
I had just thrown in the questions with my intro because time isn't on my side.
I found out about the plecs on Thursday and i have to collect them on Sunday.
In the meantime i had to shuffle a few fish and set up a tank for them.
Get styro box, bags, heat pads and borrow some oxygen.

Thanks again.

Welcome platty252

Be carefull with the bloodworms as young ones can choke on them.

Thanks John, i was thinking of leaving bloodworm out of their diet until they were closer to a year old.
