I have just got into Zebras! I guess I picked a bad day to give up the glue sniffing (LoL!!).
Anyway jokes aside what beautiful creatures they are, if only they would be a little less secretive! I have 3 in a well oxygenated planted 180l tank.
Would I be right in thinking that they predominately eat at night?
Seasons Greetings to one and all

Greetings from Scotland
My 4 eat mostly at night too. I try feeding during "day light" but they don't seem too interested although I am sure that if I cut down on the night time feeds that could all change.

Thanks for the welcome and solvent advice!
Sadly one zebra didn't make it through the night on Thursday
No obvious reason for the death but I guess it must be very stressful for them.
The other two seem healthy and have minor territorial scraps! Hopefully it won't turn into a full scale war! Afterall the have 180 litres to play in and several caves.

Hi Al
Welcome to the forum.
Sorry to hear about you losing one of the zebras this early on, unfortunately htey don't seem to acclimatise to captivity very well when wild caught. Are they wild caught fish?
Hope you find the forum useful.

Hi Al
Wahst the temp of your tank?.............if its 82 or under..get it up sharpish.aim for 86,which the zeb will handle easily..this in turn will speed up the "cycle" of the whitespot ,and terminate it...........oh and welcome to the board. http://www.scottishdiscus.com
