Hello from Devon

Post by andyj »

Hi guys :)

Just found this site via. a link on www.fishforum.net ;)

Currently have 2 BN's in my 210-litre planted tank. But am looking at setting up a new tank with a couple of L046's :D all depends if I can find a LFS that has got some in, and at a price that I can afford !!!! ;)

Cheers mate ;)

Tri-mar's about 2.5hrs drive from me, down in the deepest darkest depths of Cornwall !!!! lol ;)

The LFS near me did have some in a couple of month's ago, for £125 ea. which at the time I thought was expensive, but having researched them recently, that seems about average !!

New tank on the way soon, so will see how the old beer tokends are going after Xmas !!! ;)

ah yeah, friend of mine is also looking at getting his LFS to import a box of L046's for him (about 25)...... so if anyone's interested, drop me a line ! ;)

Hi andyj,

Welcome to the forum, hope you find it helpful. :D
Check out the sales and wants thread for LFSs that may still have zebras.

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

Hi Andyj,
Wellcome to the forum.
Take a look at "In the wild" on this forum.I think your friend might need a lot of luck with getting his lfs to get his box of zebras.
Regards,
Des.

Hi guys :)

Rob, cheers for the 'heads-up' on the export ban etc !! ;)

From what I've heard the Brazilian Government haven't banned the export of Zebra's, they're just controlling it, and limiting numbers.

Anyone confirm this ?!? :?

Hi andyj

Welcome to the forum mate.

As far as the ban goes, there still seems to be a great deal of hear-say and scaremongering going on. Let us know if you hear any thing else.

cheers
