I am so glad I found this forum! I love Zebras and want to get into breeding them. This is one of the best resources I have found.

Welcome to the wonderful world of zebras. Do you currently keep any plecos and if so do they spawn for you?

No and no, haha. I am totally new to the world of Zebras. I do have another Pleco, who caused me to fall in love with them.

Zebras are not the ideal pleco to start with for spawning. Mistakes can be expensive. A lot of folks start with something a lot easier to learn and then move on from there. The most common starter pleco are the bristlenose. Most of the common tank strains are not difficult or expensive.

The owner of this site also owns Planetcatfish.com. While this site specializes in just one species, PC is one of the most respected online sites for catfish of all types. There are 368 registered zebra keepers there and a good number of them have spawned zebras.
